Inspired by true events

This morning on the way to work, we saw a high school student riding to class.
...Dressed as a viking.
...On a unicycle.

He waved at us as he passed by. I think he was a very friendly unicycle-riding viking.

I wrote this haiku in honor of the occasion:

Unusual site-
A unicycling viking
Waves to passersby.

Day at the Races

On Friday, our operations group had an outing to Arlington Park race track. I decided to bring along my camera and see what it could do.
