This shot involved multiple lighting sources, a bounce flash, a tripod, some of our finest china, and two burnt slices of pizza. (The burnt pizza was the product of spending too much time setting up the shot and not enough time keeping an eye on the oven.) The shot turned out and the pizza was still edible, so I'd call that a good day.

I really like your collective "mug shot". Using paper cups just wouldn't have been the same. Does the bounce flash mean that the 283 is still working? Nice work!

Ahh.... I knew there had to be a better title for this photo!! Why didn't I think of that?!
Yes, the 283 still works well and I'm slowly getting the hang of it. The batteries in it even had some power left, although after this weekend I need to invest in some new AAs.
